Although the NGO caters to the whole LGBTIQ+ community throughout Lesotho, they have a strong trans presence. Their founder and Executive Director, Tampose Mothopeng, is a trans man. They run a number of trans-specific programmes and research projects, such as the research project <em><a href=\"https:\/\/transintersexhistory.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ntsekhe-2014-Transgender-_-gender-non-conforming-health-needs-assessment-in-Lesotho.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"1050\">Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Health Needs Assessment in Lesotho<\/a><\/em>, conducted in 2014. The organisation acquired its legal recognition in 2010 under the <em>National Societies\u2019 Act of 1966<\/em> and got re-registered in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full regardless of sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People\u2019s Matrix Association is dedicated to advancing human rights in Lesotho, with a particular focus on SSOGIE (Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Gender Expression).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
