The aim of the organisation is to contribute to the development of sexual minorities and to defend their rights. AGMG&rsquo;s purpose is to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respect human rights, in particular those concerning diversity of sexual orientation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to improving the quality of life of lesbian, transgender, and bisexual and (LGBT) people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve access to quality health care, the fight against HIV\/AIDS, the fight against stigma and discrimination as well as gender-based violence (GBV).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the rights of children and young girls, particularly lesbians, trans and non-binary people, and bisexuals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create literacy centres for lesbians, trans and non-binary people, and bisexuals with a view to promoting the creation of income-generating activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in the fight against stigmatisation and discrimination of people infected and affected by HIV\/AIDS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To plan the implementation of programs and services adapted to the realities of sexual minorities as well as the visibility and empowerment of LBTQ women and non-binary people through the power of communication and innovation in Guinea. \n\nAGMG&rsquo;s mission is achieved through the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inform and raise awareness about the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the human rights and sexual and reproductive health rights of marginalised social groups;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the psychological and medical care of people infected and affected by HIV-AIDS;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure large-scale advocacy for the improvement of the living conditions of LGBT people;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work for entrepreneurship and professional integration of young people, particularly LGBT people;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop the skills of members for better involvement in political dialogue on health-related issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work for the participatory improvement of key targets in the governance and development of national health programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Values<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among others: volunteering, dynamism, respect, non-discrimination, tolerance, transparency, integrity, solidarity, inclusion, professional ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas of Work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fight against STIs and AIDS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fight against stigmatisation and discrimination and gender based violence (GBV).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion and defense of human rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity reinforcements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advocacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support (community, psychological and social).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Email: associationdesguinesmanguesdeg@gmail.com<br>(+224) 224 624 40 05 41 \/ 622 021 943 <br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=61557367301353\">Facebook<\/a><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 2022 \u2014 Founding of Association des Guin\u00e8s Mangu\u00e8s de Guin\u00e9e (AGMG), Guinea The Association des Guin\u00e8s Mangu\u00e8s de Guin\u00e9e (AGMG) was founded in Guinea-Conakry in February 2022 and was registered on 7 December 2023.
