Officially registered in May 2018, TransSwati was born due to the lack of trans community representation in programmatic activities in the development sector in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). TransSwati believes that everyone deserves to live their life authentically and without fear of discrimination or violence. The organisation is dedicated to providing resources and support to transgender individuals and their families, as well as to educate the public about transgender issues.
