They provide free counselling, therapeutic care, and guidance while advocating for human rights, visibility, and access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. The organisation also advocates for trans persons living with HIV\/AIDS. The organisation focuses on the Luweero, Nakaseke and Greater Kampala areas of Uganda. Unable to register as a trans\/intersex or LGBTIQ+ organisation due to the law in Uganda, PEDI registered as a youth empowerment group that provides mental health services to youth living with HIV.
