The Support Initiative for People with atypical sex Development (SIPD) and Gender DynamiX (GDX) forms a partnership to host an Eastern and Southern African trans and intersex Exchange Program commencing May 2010. The planned partnership will bring together 16 activists from Botswana, Burundi, Namibia, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe for this learning exchange.

The group of activists will meet twice a year and host countries will rotate to give participants a greater idea of different country contexts.
