On 27 February 2024, Trans & Intersex History Africa (TIHA)’s co-founder, ليزل ثيرون, delivered a presentation to the Professional Association for Transgender Health South Africa (PATHSA) on the topic of the African history of trans and intersex movements. Liesl used the opportunity to highlight the work we do at TIHA in creating a first of its kind archive of trans and intersex movements in Africa and the African Diaspora.
