2021 — Talented Youth Community Fellowship Uganda (TAYCOF) Fondée, Ouganda
Founded in 2021 in Uganda, Talented Youth Community Fellowship (TAYCOF), is a faith-based, trans women-led organisation that was started by Maama Annet, Aggie Dennett Harmon, Isaac Bafaki and Deron Sheri to serve and uplift trans and gender diverse communities in Uganda. TAYCOF combines faith and activism to respond to the urgent needs of marginalised individuals. The organisation provides safe spaces, psychosocial support, economic empowerment, and community-centred advocacy and working to ensure that every person regardless of gender identity can live with dignity, purpose, and hope. The organisation was registered in June 2022.
