Founded on 12 September 2017, UNITY Association Togo helps young trans people in Togo by advocating for their psychological and social well-being through cultural events, recreational and educational outings, educational talks, focus groups and assistance with socio-professional integration. UNITY also works towards fighting stigmatisation discrimination and all forms of gender-based violence. The association is based in Lomé and has branches in Aného and Kara. UNITY was registered in 2019.
