2010 — Trans Intersex Androgynous Movement of Namibia (TIAMON) Founded, Namibia

The Trans Activist Movement of Namibia (TAMON) was founded in 2010, operating as a trans desk at the LGBT organisation, Out-Right Namibia (ORN). In 2015, the organisation renamed itself TIAMON, the Trans Intersex Androgynous Movement of Namibia. TIAMON is a community-based organisation and aims to empower trans, intersex, gender diverse and androgynous people.

To have an empowered trans-diverse community that exists in an inclusive society.
