Trans Future DRC/ASBL was founded on 9 March 2020 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The organisation, focusing on trans rights, was registered on 8 December 2021.
Vision
To ensure that all transgender people within its radius of action can play a determining role or they will be actors in their own development in almost all areas of human life.
Mission
To establish a just and equitable world where all transgender people enjoy their rights.
Objective
To contribute to improving the social and economic well-being of transgender people in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Specific Objectives
- Lobby and advocate on respect for the rights of Transgender people.
- Promote education and health of transgender people in the community.
- Carry out entrepreneurship and food security actions for transgender people.
- Fight against environmental degradation.
